This seminar provides an introduction and orientation to Code Center Premium and to the Office source trees. The most commonly used products in the Office suite will be covered: Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.

Description

This workshop is intended to give the new source licensee a “head start” in exploring the Office source code available via Code Center Premium access. After demonstrating the installation and use of the Code Center Premium certificates and smart card, we will present a detailed walkthrough of the architecture and major components of the Office product suite, with frequent references to the areas of the source tree in which the components described are implemented. We’ll show how to apply this background in order to help find the source code for several commonly-visited areas of interest, such as file reading and writing, Office Automation, and others.
